NEW YORK (Turkish Haberler - TH) By TWITTER -- Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, who is in Srebrenica to join remembrance ceremony to mark the 16th anniversary of mass killing of Bosnians, expressed how he felt about the tragedy on his Twitter account." Today, I am in Srebrenica," Arinc said. "I am in a city where nearly 10,000 MuslimBosnians were killed viciously and human dignity was trampled upon. I will represent my country at the ceremony to be held in the memory of people who faced genocide."

A total of 8,372 Bosnian people were killed in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina in July 1995 by units of Serbian army during the Bosnian War.

Arinc went on saying: "Although it has been 16 years since the massacre, Srebrenica is still mournful like a lamenting mother. It is like thousands of mothers from around the world have flocked to this downcast city. Some people are praying at the graveside, some are crying for their spouses or their children who even do not have a gravestone."

Arinc said he was in Srebrenica at least to help fix human dignity damaged 16 years ago and to remember martyrs who died here.

"We will never forget Srebrenica and never let it happen again," he said.
